So, as most of you know, I started this business a little over a year ago. Sometimes it seems like ages ago, but most of the time it feels like yesterday. One reason this business has been so rewarding is because of the clients that I have had over this past year. I have met so many people and have been able to be involved in the most important day of someone's life. I don't take this job lightly. I love it and feel blessed everyday to have it. About eight months ago, one of my best friends roommates in Atlanta, Kate, got engaged. My friend referred her to me and this weekend I had the privilege of shooting her wedding in Augusta. It had all the makings of being a crazy weekend. It was supposed to rain and I had ZERO voice. Literally, zero. But the rain held off and luckily you don't need to talk to take pictures. (well sometimes you do, but that's besides the point.) Anyway, Kate and Michael have a great story. They were high school sweet hearts but did not date all through college....life brought them back together and now they are married. My favorite shots of them are the more journalistic shots. They know each other so well and are so comfortable around each other it wasn't hard to get a shot of them just loving each other. The wedding was gorgeous and I had a great time getting to know the wedding party. Here are some of my favorite shots, enjoy the slideshow below too!!
This shot was inspired by a picture my photographer, Natalie, took of my dress. I loved it so much when I saw Kate's dress I knew it would have a great effect of showing her detail as well....thanks Natalie!!

Michael was so sweet and sent Kate flowers the day of the wedding and sent her a card, this is her reading his sweet note...

Kate's mom made her vail. The lace on the edge matched her dress perfectly....it was beautiful.

ashley! ohhhh this made my day! your work is so beautiful. anyone who can make pics of me and michael (who are famously un-photogenic together) look like that is my hero. thank you for all your hard work last weekend and i hope to see you again soon!

I am a fellow photographer, just browsing facebook and your site popped up on the side so here I was lead to look at your beautiful work. I just wanted to tell you I love your processing work on photo number 9, it has that old antique look about it, almost like a color sepia. Wanna share your secret... hahaha, I know that answer is a no. Great work and Great Bokehs, :)
