i love what i do. i love that i get the priveledge of taking pictures of people that are in love. that is exactly what i got to do this past sunday. i met natalie, josh, and her mother a couple months ago and i knew when i left......i really really wanted to shoot their wedding. i don't know what it was about them, but there was something that drew me to them. i absolutely love engagement sessions. it is my absolute favorite thing to do. i love getting to know the couple that i am getting ready to spend their wedding day with. getting to know natalie and josh better made me even more excited to spend May 30th with them.
natalie and josh are both from knoxville, but went to utc. natalie is still in school for interior design and josh has already graduated and is a nurse. as you are getting ready to see, they are so so sweet. they really really love each other and taking pictures of them being all lovey dovey was a piece of cake. i kept on telling them, "seriously, you are doing fabulous, just keep up the good work." from the second that i whipped out the camera, they just were themselves. i never said a word. (well, we talked a lot, but i never had to tell them what to do......) natalie and josh, i loved hanging out with you in the "new to me" chattanooga and i can't wait til your wedding day! i hope you all enjoy some of my favorite shots of a day of hanging out with the 'oh so cute natalie and josh'.....

oh, and these next few too.....there is an area in chattanooga called the art district....i could have stayed there all day. i was overwhelmed by all the great places to take photos.
these next few photos were taken in front of natalie's house. josh and her are going to live there after they get married. she has something like 37 steps (is that right??) leading up to her house.....when they told me this, we just couldn't pass it up.......it made for some great shots.
a really sweet thing about natalie and josh is that, josh is a nurse and works the night shift which starts at 7.......every time josh would have to work they would meet at starbucks so the two of them could spend time together before he had to go in....oh and i think josh needed a the caffine as well.....anyway, they really wanted to go get some shots there since it was there #1 date spot and as it turned out, it was actually the exact same time they normally go there as well....it was a pleasure to interupt your starbucks date!
